94.9 WOLX morning show host James McGam popularly known as Jim has sadly passed away. He died on Sunday 19th May 2024 surrounded by his beloved family. He was announced dead by the radio station through a post that says “On Sunday, we all lost a dear friend…even if you never met him.Jim McGaw, the always bright, light hearted and kind morning show host of WOLX has passed away. Jim helped so many people wake up every morning for the past 11 years on 94.9 WOLX, but his voice was heard in town for much longer.” No cause of death was stated.
