Beloved husband, father and baseball coach Jordan Brinson of Knoxville, Tennessee has sadly passed away. He died on Monday 20th May 2024 leaving family and friends devastated. He was announced dead through a Facebook post that says ” They say that life can change in the blink of an eye. And so it has for my daughter and three grandsons. They lost their husband/father in a car accident.” As at the time this report was made, the actual cause of what led to the accident has not been released.
Who was Jordan Brinson?
Both loyalty and compassion show in Jordan’s relationship with his parents. He was their source of joy and happiness and pride. Jordan was always keen to extend a helping hand to his parents and provide them with the comfort they needed. His parents held in such high esteem that they remember several occasions when Jordan went out of the way to make sure they were smiling and happy, often through small gestures or merely their company. His love and care for his parents reflected in everything he did, and his support was their pillar of strength.
However, his greatest joy came from being a dad. His children became the centre of his life, and he enjoyed every moment of fatherhood. He was fun to be with and was loved by anyone that crossed path with.

Jordan was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ray Wolfe; paternal grandparents Tom and Alice Brinson, aunt Shannon Wolfe, uncle Hugh Wolfe, and aunt Barbara Thomas. Jordan is survived by his wife Samantha and three wonderful children, Weston, Greyson and Callaway; mother and father Kathy and Bill Brinson; brother Alex Brinson (Hannah); grandmother Margaret Watson (Buster); niece Millie Brinson; nephews Mac and Jude Brinson; uncle Steve Wolfe (Rosemary); aunt Carol Wolfe; uncle Tom Brinson (Heidi); and aunt Carla Parmele (Chuck).
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 pm May 23, 2024 at Salem Baptist Church with a Celebration of Life to follow at 7:00pm, Pastor Allen James officiating. Family and friends will meet at Highland Memorial Cemetery at 10:45am on Friday, May 24, 2024, for a 11:00am interment.
