Jewell Anslee Efird was born July 26, 2019, in Cabarrus County. She was the beloved daughter of Daniel and Melissa Gardin Efird. Jewell graduated from Wee Care in 2024. She was a joy and light to every room. Jewell was loved by so many people.

In addition to her parents Daniel and Melissa, she is survived by her sister, Cheyenne Efird of the home; grandparents, David and Eva Gardin, great grandparents, Viola Lovejoy and Alma Broadway; grandparents that loved her like their own, Tony and Carmia Poplin, Charles and Sandra Tucker and Jimmy and Donna Weatherholt; aunts and uncles, Danyelle and Chris Wing, Dusty and Holly Efird, Jamie and Jennifer Vanhoy and Tyler Gardin; cousin, TJ Blalock(Jessica), Destiny Blalock(Kenny), Dylan Blalock, Denver Blalock(Kendall), Justin Vanhoy, Destiny Blackwelder, Austin Blackwelder and Addison Frick.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm, Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Silver Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Mark Little and Pastor Dusty Laney will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00, prior to the service at the church.
