The deceased has been identified as Peter Mcindoe. He was announced dead today, Saturday, the 25th of May 2024. Peter Mcindoe died unexpectedly, according to reports.

Thoughts and prayers are with his friends, family and community during this difficult time. Peter McIndoe invented the satirical conspiracy theory “Birds Aren’t Real” impulsively in January 2017.
Inspired by encountering pro-Trump counter-protestors at the 2017 Women’s March in Memphis, Tennessee, he scribbled “Birds Aren’t Real” on a poster and concocted a conspiracy theory on the spot as a “spontaneous joke.” A video of McIndoe at the march quickly went viral, giving rise to the satirical movement.
