Shrikar Chennuru, a resident of Normal, Illinois passed away at the young age of 19. He leaves behind his impact on the lives of his loved ones. About Shrikar Chennuru
Shrikar Chennuru was born on March 18, 2005, in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He was the beloved son of Sathish and Sushma Chennuru. Shrikar graduated from Normal Community High School. Although he was born in New Jersey, he grew up in Normal, Illinois. Over the past decade, Shrikar has built strong bonds with the community, forming numerous friendships and connections. He was known for his passion, which extended to various aspects of his life, including helping others, his schoolwork, and music.
He earned his Materials Science and Engineering degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Throughout his life, Shrikar has actively participated in numerous clubs and extracurricular activities, such as performing in school musicals, serving as captain of the mock trial team, and being selected for the Illinois All-State Choir for two consecutive years. In the coming years, he hopes to become even more involved in the community.

He is survived by: his parents, Sathish Chennuru and Sushma Chennuru; and his sister Shriya Chennuru.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 26th 2024 at 12:00 pm at the same location.
