The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office has reported a devastating crash that resulted in the deaths of three individuals. The incident occurred on Monday, May 27, around 2:35 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on State Road 37, just south of Zoo Road. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a severely damaged vehicle that had veered off the west side of the roadway.
How did the accident happen?
The vehicle had collided with a guardrail and then struck a tree, causing catastrophic damage. Unfortunately, all three occupants of the vehicle were found deceased when emergency responders arrived. The Crawford County Coroner’s Office later confirmed that the victims were a father from Perry County and his two sons. The man was identified as Kyle James, while the sons were Owen & Beau.
According to the initial report from the sheriff’s department, the vehicle inexplicably left the roadway, leading to the fatal crash.
