Sydney:- Two people died and one injured following a tragic accident involving a convoy of 40 motorcyclists and a car in Sydney’s west. Two victims were identified as Doey Choi and William Brown. According to reports, 24-year-old pillion Doey Choi, a renowned Australian golf player and 26-year-old William Brown passed away at the scene from injuries sustained in the motorbike crash in Greenacre.
How did the crash happen?
Emergency services responded at 7 PM to a crash at the intersection of the Hume Highway and Worth Street in Greenacre. The collision involved a Toyota Corolla driven by a 25-year-old man and a motorcycle, resulting in the car flipping over. The driver of the Corolla was critically injured and taken to Westmead Hospital. The motorcycle was part of a convoy from the Sydney Motorcycle Community Group heading towards Mrs Macquarie’s Chair earlier in the day. The driver and the motorcyclist are believed to be close friends.
A crime scene has been set up and police are appealing for anyone with dashcam footage to contact Crimestoppers.
