A security force with the Department of the Air Forces United States of America, Karren Mendoza has sadly passed away. She was announced dead by Team Defenders through a social media publication that read “It’s with a heavy heart that we share the passing of fellow Defender SrA Karren Mendoza with the 48 SFS, Lakenheath AFB, England. Our hearts go out to the family, friends, and fellow Defenders. May You Never Be Forgotten!! TD.”
SRA Karen Patricia Mendoza was stationed at RAF Lakenheath, England, with the 48th Security Forces Squadron. Karren’s sparkling spirit brightened the lives of everyone around her. She was well-known for her generosity and wit, and she could make anyone laugh, no matter what the circumstance. Despite her intimidating appearance, she had a kind heart and a keen sense of empathy for other people. Her presence was essential to the squadron, and we will always cherish the memories she left behind.
Karren Mendoza had a sweet, caring, and beautiful soul. the kind of soul that is rare in today’s world. Everyone in Lakenheath and Hanscom has been impacted by her presence. Her memory will live on forever. Her teammates, friends, and family will all miss her.
