Commerce TX:- A man has died by suicide following a tragic incident that happened years ago involving one of his students. The victim has been identified as Michael Guzman. According to reports, Michael Guzman, a band director at Texas A&M University-Commerce passed away from injuries sustained from a self-inflicted gunshot.
How did the incident happen?
Reports claim that Texas A&M University-Commerce band director Michael Guzman affectionately known to many as “Mike” was pronounced dead this morning, Friday, the 31st of May 2024. He allegedly shot himself following sexual allegations which occurred years ago. Jackie Rodriguez who graduated from Southwest Miami High School in 2012 went Live on Facebook to accuse Mike of sexual allegation.
She also stated that they both had sexual relationships that lasted from 15-18 maybe 19 years of age while she was still a minor. Jackie also stated that while Mike was at Southwest, he groomed and slept with numerous girls in the high school band, not just her. Many social media users believed that it was the incident that prompted Mike to end his life. No further information was mentioned.
